TALOS V Call for Applications
Friends of Science Fiction, Theatre or both! We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that Talos, the original sci-fi theatre festival of London, the UK, and Europe, is returning this year! We're celebrating 10 years since our first festival in 2015! TALOS V is back at The Bread & Roses Theatre in South London!
We're excited to platform all kinds of science fiction and fantastical theatre & performance! Talos V invites theatre companies to submit proposals for full length shows of 50 to 60 minutes. For the 2025 festival we'll programme two main shows per night, except for Sunday 13th when we'll programme four!
We're excited to hear from all artists staging science fictional and other fantastical, horror or speculative fiction performances; but also want to particularly encourage migrant, diverse, and LGBTQ+ artists and theatre companies to propose their own SF visions. Artistic Vision
At Cyborphic, the team behind Talos, we accept flexible definitions of science fiction and are looking for projects that feature sf, horror or broader / more abstract speculative fiction elements. We're not interested in AI-generated text, images or videos & performances that incorporate those uncritically.
Key Dates & Other Info
EARLY BIRD DEADLINE: Sunday 21st September 2025 (midnight)
FINAL DEADLINE: Tuesday 30th September 2025 (midnight)
You will hear back by the 7th of October if not earlier. Note there may be fewer available slots after the Early Bird deadline.
Slots: All slots are offered on a 60/40 box office split basis in the company's favour.
Registration Fee: £50 (paid after show has been accepted & confirmed.) The fee helps cover marketing and admin costs.
